Directions
You’ll notice the white dots that mark the path, this is usually the easiest route. To access the North Rim Trail, you’ll need to ride or hike a connecting trail to reach it – the most direct route is via the White Trail, for a roundtrip of approximately 3.5 miles.
To reach the White Trailhead from Interstate 15, take UT-17 towards Hurricane and from there, take high 59 towards Apple Valley. Take Highway 59 via Apple Valley until you reach the signed junction for Gooseberry Mesa. Turn onto the dirt road towards Gooseberry Mesa and follow the signs until you reach the signed junction for White Trailhead. Turn left toward the White Trailhead and continue 1.1 miles until you reach the White Trail. Take the White trial to the North Rim Trial (2.3 miles), or alternatively, follow the White Trail until you reach the west end of the “Practice Trail” (about .8 miles). Follow the Practice Trail until you reach the start of the North Rim Trail on the left (about 200 feet). This alternative will start you at the east end of the North Rim Trail.
