From Interstate 15, take exit 6 turning left onto Bluff Street heading north. Continue on Bluff for 3.7 miles to Snow Canyon Parkway. Turn left onto Snow Canyon Parkway, headed west. After 3.9 miles, you will reach a rounadbout at Snow Canyon Parkway and Snow Canyon Drive…a right turn leading you to the park. This route starts at this roundabout, however a parking lot is available approximately 1 mile up Snow Canyon Drive, just outside the gate of the park. There is a small fee to enter the park.
Description
Possibly the greatest state park anywhere, Snow Canyon makes for an incredible and challenging ride. A short ride up a red and white streaked sandstone canyon is capped off with a steep climb up the road that will have you clenching your teeth and feeling like a warrior when you top out at the rim of the canyon. Views of sand dunes, rolling sandstone hills, and rivers of black, hardened lava rock make for an incredibly stunning ride.
